Some of Granot’s holdings have been held by Granot for many years. Granot’s core operation has always consisted of agricultural and rural settlements in general, and Kibbutzes in particular. Granot is the largest holder of Tnuva shares among Tnuva’s Israeli shareholders. In recent years we entered into investments in agri-food-tech and agricultural innovations that overlap with our core activities (animal food, dairy farms and plant farming).​

Tnuva is one of the organization’s most important holdings, and it reflects the inseparable connection between the organization and the world of dairy and dairy products.

One Technologies​

Granot holds 4% of one of Israel’s largest IT companies.​

Agrostudies

A training program for undergraduates (agricultural studies) from Asian and African countries. The students stay in Israel for 11 months, during which they receive practical training in the modern agricultural techniques prevalent in the Israeli industry. These studies take place at either of Agrostudies’ campuses in Northern, Central and Southern Israel. At the end of their training, the students return to their home countries to lead their local agricultural industries. The program is the product of inter-Ministerial collaboration, and is deemed as success all around the world.​

Ha’Tnua Emek Hefer

Ha’Tnua Emek Hefer is one of Israel’s largest shipping and freight cooperatives, and it is owned by Granot (65%) and Meir Car and Truck Company. The Company ships containers, agricultural produce, heavy equipment, out of gauge cargoת and liquids in bulk. Moreover, the Company specializes in refrigerated freight (primarily milk). ​

Over the years, Granot has provided a strong financial foundation for all of its cooperative members. They use Granot’s assistance in the framework of projects that cover the organization’s core operations, and receive funding and assistance that are tailored to their needs.​

“Markolbo” [minimarket chain stores]

Granot established a new chain of minimarket stores in 2022 that operates in Israel’s rural regions: kibbutzes, moshavs and communal settlements. Our core objective was to nurture a direct connection between growers, manufacturers and retailers, while ensuring fair prices, a unique shopping experience and a diverse product mix. Chain stores are meticulously designed to accommodate the needs of each and every community, based on the understanding that grocery stores have a social-communal role in every small settlement.​

Granot collaborates with Atia Ltd. in assisting its farms realize their real estate potential and develop employment centers on their properties. Granot also seeks to optimally utilize the real estate properties it owns.​

Granot has invested in managed portfolios (capital market) and in the Teneh and Lahav investment funds. The purpose of these investments is to support industries in Kibbutzes and the Israeli industry as a whole by financing middle-market companies.​

Entoprotech

Entoprotech is a startup company that seeks to harness the natural power of one particular insect – the “black soldier fly”. The purpose of this endeavor is to make use of a wide variety of organic waste and other low-value materials and turn them into protein, fat and organic fertilizer, and to thus solve a variety of global issues, such as greenhouse gas emissions, protein shortages and the growing use of landfills.

NDrip

The Company’s technology is based on a pipe with a cylinder at its center, through which water flows in a ring-like shape (around the cylinder and on the pipe’s sides). The flow is relatively strong, and this enables the removal of dirt from the pipe that could clog the droppers. The Company’s system works at low water pressure levels, thereby reducing energy costs.

NRGene

NRGene uses genomic data (data associated with the structure and role of genomes) and advanced technologies to identify the best sustainable solutions. This Company employs an international team of experts with a deep understanding of market challenges, customer needs and AI technologies.

BarAlgae

The Company has developed groundbreaking technologies used to grow micro-algae by means of machine learning and algae cultivation expertise. The Company supplies high-quality microalgae for gardening nurseries and aquaculturalists around the world.

GreenOnyx seeks to change peoples’ lives by making healthy food more accessible using its “Wanna Greens” technology: a simple way to add fresh greens to every meal and to significantly improve the daily diet.

Dairyx has developed an AI system that meticulously examines each and every cow and develops a personal profile for each animal, which dictates its diet and milking routines, thereby achieving maximum dairy output.
