Granot International (GI) was founded in 2021, and is owned by Granot Group and SMP (Meir Car and Truck Company Ltd.). The purpose of this company is to export the know-how and abilities gained by Granot in various agricultural sectors over the years to overseas markets.  GI seeks to promote food security, while maintaining the welfare of humans and animals and facilitate environmental protection. The Company operates around the world and develops, manages, supports and provides consultation services in the framework of national and international projects in collaboration with local companies and partners. It offers high-quality solutions that are tailored to its customers’ needs and its available resources. ​

Granot International endeavors to generate significant value for its customers and projects from day one. The above will be achieved through the following:

Projects and investments

GI has planted a large avocado orchard in Kenya together with local partners. This project will be expanded in upcoming years and a large packaging facility will be built to accommodate it, and to pack our produce and that of other cultivators on its way to Europe.​

NIBBANA

NIBBANA is a platform for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through a number of activities: a consulting firm that supports food companies from the environmental footprint measurement stage to the implementation of environmental balance plans. Moreover, a project company is used to support projects for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and a trading company that trades environmental credits.
